Last Sunday we took the kids to Monterey for the day. I haven't been there since I was little and I knew the boys would love the aquarium. My brothers girlfriend goes to school in Monterey so we also went to see her (ok, that was the main reason for me!). My parents & brother also came and we really enjoyed a relaxing day on the water.
The kids were very well behaved, did great on the drive to/from & had a blast all day. Austin walked through the aquarium and was just in constant awe of everything. He repeatedly told us how much he loved it. Carson was on a mission: hammerhead sharks! And luckily, we found one :) The aquarium was completely packed- I will never again go on a 3 day weekend.
We spent the day at the aquarium and then had an early dinner at Bubba Gumps. After dinner we walked up and down Cannery Row and had a few yummy treats from Ghiradelli!
Perfect little getaway, we had a great day!
