We had a perfect Valentines Day around here :)
It all started when we woke up and Wayman rolled over in bed to tell me he had taken the day off of work to spend with me. I was completely shocked and so excited to just hang out with my Valentine :)
We definitely didn't just sit around and hang out....we had parties to go to!
First we had to drop these little Cupid's off at school

The first party of the day was at this sweet boys school!
And what's a preschool party without a LOT of candy?! {This conversation heart happens to say 'Wild Child'....perfect fit, dont ya think?}
After Carson's party, we headed down the street to Austin's school. They did Valentines Day crafts & activities all morning and then after lunch is when the sugar-filled party started. I made Jello filled orange slices (you can read about them here) and someone else in the class brought cupcakes
Emily, Austin & Katelyn- friends since preschool and you can ALWAYS find these 3 together! They keep Mrs. Beck on her toes I'm sure
When we got home, we let them sit and the table and sort through their Valentines day cards from all their friends. And of course, eat a couple pieces of candy :)
I made a delicious dinner for Wayman and I and the boys got to chose their own dinner (interesting combos they chose!) and eat dinner in the playroom while watching a movie. They love having "movie picnics" and getting to eat dinner somewhere other than the kitchen table. They are pretty easy to please :)
We had a perfect day celebrating how much we all love each other. We don't really do big gifts or anything on Valentines Day and thats totally fine with me. Waymans surprise of taking the day off to spend with me shows me he knows EXACTLY what would make me happiest and thats what matters to me. He knows me too well.
